The 2008 Annual Lake Placid Village Clean-Up is taking place
THIS SATURDAY, April 26th.
Sponsored by the Garden Club of Lake Placid (LPGC.com), the Village Clean-Up is an all-day event for people of all ages.
The Village of Lake Placid will again be donating all the trash bags and The Lake Placid Garden club will be donating a number of recycled grocery bags for the kids to use.
The two hour clean up event will conclude with a lunch and all the picked up trash will be hauled away thanks to the Village and other local volunteers with trucks. The trash will then be taken to the Town of North Elba Transfer Station.
If you would like more information or have questions regarding the event you can contact Heidi Roland at 523-9243 or Peggy Dennin at 523-4145. Be sure to listen to WSLP FM 93.3 for updates. May 3rd will be the rain date in the event of bad weather.

Come out and support a great event and jump into summer in the Adirondacks with a sense of pride in our appearance. It’s like the posters say, “Every Little Bit Helps!”
