LAKE PLACID, N.Y. --- This morning, Wednesday, Dec. 3, the Lake Placid-Essex County Visitors Bureau and the New York State Hospitality and Tourism Association (NYSH&TA) hosted the annual legislative breakfast at the Lake Placid Lodge, in Lake Placid, N.Y.
During the breakfast, state and local issues, including responsible tourism growth, affordable housing and the popularity of road biking in the Adirondacks were addressed.
The event was one of three legislative receptions to be held in New York State. Earlier this month, NYSH&TA also sponsored receptions in Rochester and Cooperstown where local legislative representatives met with tourism industry leaders to discuss issues pertaining to their regions.
