The Montreal Gazette visiting Town of Essex

This time we were visited by Rochelle Lash , a columnist from the Montreal Gazette newspaper who made her trip to explore the town of Essex. During her trip she visited historic B&B 's and admired beautiful scenic vistas. Historic Essex, an “unspoiled” community on Lake Champlain, is known for its architecture, with most of its main street listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It contains one of the most intact collections of pre-Civil War architecture in America, and for centuries it has warmly welcomed travelers and sightseers, delighted by its beauty and surroundings on the beautiful shores of Lake Champlain.
